LIVONIA, Mich. - The University of Northwestern Ohio men's soccer team continued its tear through October by scoring with less than four minutes to play against Madonna University and holding on for a 2-2 draw with the Crusaders on Wednesday.

With the tie, the Racers improved to 5-0-2 in the month. They are now 8-6-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference; with 17 points, they're in fourth place in the conference standings with one conference game to play. The top four teams in the standings host first-round WHAC Tournament games.

Jesper Kallqvist scored both goals for the Racers, both in the second half. He knocked in a rebound off a missed penalty kick at the 69:38 mark to draw UNOH within 2-1. He tied the contest at 2-2 with a goal off a loose ball off a long free kick. Kallqvist now has three goals on the season.

UNOH goalkeeper Liam Davies gave up two goals and came up with four saves. Davies has 60 saves and a .779 save percentage this season.

The Racers wrap up the regular season with a WHAC match against Lawrence Tech at 3 p.m. Saturday.
