WAUWATOSA, Wis. -- The University of Northwestern Ohio bowling teams competed in the Midwest Bowling Championships, with the men finishing 14th out of 42 teams, and the women finishing 15th out of 30 teams.

Leading the Racers for the men was Toby James with a 210 average and Anthony Kennard with a 208. For the women, high average was Crystal Boyer with a 200 and Kandis Garland with a 184.

Best spare-shooters for the weekend were Brandon Depew, converting 84% of his spares, and Boyer for the ladies with a 76%.

High game for the men was Kennard with a 253, and for the women Boyer with a 257.
