LIBERTY, Ind. - The University of Northwestern Ohio women's golf team closed out its season on a strong note, finishing second at the Ohio Northern University Tri-Match and third at the seven-team IU-East Waterfront Classic.

The ONU Tri-Match, held at Colonial Golfers Club on the east side of Lima, went to Notre Dame College of Ohio with a team score of 365. The Lady Racers had a 371 and ONU had a 381. Katy Keckler tied for third among individuals with a 91, and Ashley Evers tied for sixth with a 92. Emily Winings had a 93, Ashley Kunkler turned in a 95, and Ashley Goeltzenleucher had a 115.

The Lady Racers had three individuals finish in the top-10 at the Waterfront Classic; Evers and Winings tied for sixth with 92's, and Kunkler was eighth with a 94. UNOH had a team score of 383, trailing only Ursuline College (354) and Urbana University (375). Keckler had a 105, Goeltzenleucher added a 110, and Alice Verhoff had a 120 playing as an individual.
