MOUNT VERNON - The University of Northwestern Ohio men's golf team had four individuals finish in the top-20, and the Racers took second place as a team at the two-day Kenyon Invitational last weekend at Mount Vernon Country Club.
The Racers turned in a 625 to finish four strokes back to team titlist Columbus State Community College.
Opie Lucas finished sixth among individuals with a two-day total of 152 (74-78). Keith Long was eighth with a 155 (77-78), and Alex Odenweller (83-76) and Matt Smith (78-81) tied for 12th with matching 155's.
Austin Clarkson had a 170 (89-81), and Kyle Karhoff shot a 167 (81-86) as an individual entry.
The Racers play at the Cleary University Fall Invitational on Friday at Chemung Hills Golf Course in Howell, Michigan, and the WHAC Jamboree No. 4 on Saturday.
