DEFIANCE - The University of Northwestern Ohio women's golf team turned in a team score of 412 and finished eighth at Sunday's Defiance College Invitational at Eagle Rock Golf Course.

Emily Winings led the Lady Racers with a 97, followed by Katy Keckler's 98. Ashley Goeltzenleucher had a 108 and Ashley Kunkler added a 109.

Fellow Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference member Madonna University won the team title with a 345, besting second-place Adrian College by 15 strokes. Adrian's Ariel Gruber was the individual medalist with an 83.

The Lady Racers are back in action Wednesday at the WHAC Jamboree No. 4 at Coyote Creek Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
