LIMA - In what's become an annual tradition for the University of Northwestern Ohio baseball team, the student-athletes recently completed Hell Week, which put them through five days of strenuous work and team-building exercises.
"Our kids worked hard this past week and it was encouraging to see the team blend and become a unit," UNOH coach Kory Hartman said. "We have a lot of new faces this year and with the increased number of transfers, it was important for us as coaches to see how these kids reacted to a challenge.
"Overall, the fall has started a new page to this story and I am happy with the effort and results thus far, but we have 6 more weeks to define roles and to mesh as a team.It will be interesting to see how these players respond to my system and who buys in."
The players were put through the paces by Sargent First Class Brian Clum and members of the Ohio National Guard.
