LIMA - The University of Northwestern Ohio men's tennis team quickly rebounded from a Saturday loss with a dominating 8-1 win over Otterbein University on Sunday. The Racers improved to 3-1 in the fall season.

Meanwhile, the Lady Racers couldn't find the positive side of the ledger, falling to Otterbein 5-4. UNOH fell to 1-2 in the fall.

On the men's side, the top four singles matches went to three sets, with UNOH winning three of them, Daniel Rueda at first, Emin Alpan at second and Sam Rutter at fourth. Rueda and older brother Gustavo Rueda won at first doubles, Cassio Sirimarco and Alex Hager won at second doubles, and Austen Hammett and Rastko Tatarevic won at third. Hammett also won his singles match.

The Lady Racers got four singles wins from Shaleigh McClintock, Jessie Stambaugh, Lina Ramos and Emily Fernandez; Fernandez won at sixth singles in a three-set match. However, Otterbein took wins in all three doubles matches to nab the narrow victory.

The UNOH tennis teams travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the ITA Regional Tournament on Wednesday.
