LIMA - The University of Northwestern Ohio men's tennis team hosted Huntington University on Thursday in the Racers' first home match of the 2012-13 season, and UNOH improved its record to 2-0 with the 8-1 win over the Foresters.

The big win of the match came from UNOH freshman Daniel Rueda, who beat two-time ITA Regional single champ Vladislav Khudziy 6-0, 6-2 at first singles. Rueda teamed with his brother, senior Gustavo, to win at first doubles, 8-3. Gustavo Rueda won at second singles 4-6, 6-1, 10-7.

The Racers also got singles wins from Emin Alpan, Sam Rutter and Akira Kuwada. Alpan and Rutter combined to win second doubles, and Paulo Conceicao and Cassio Sirimarco took the win at third doubles as the UNOH swept the doubles positions.
