
SIDNEY - The University of Northwestern Ohio women's bowling team added another prep standout to its roster when Bethany Pellman recently signed with the Lady Racers. Pellman comes to UNOH from Sidney High School, where she has accumulated numerous academic and athletic honors.
Pellman is a three-time member of the All-Greater Western Ohio Conference teams. She also holds the school record with a 290 game during her sophomore year, and she also won the individual sectional title with a 721 series. She averaged 150-160 as a freshman, 170-180 as a sophomore and 194 as a junior.
In the classroom, Pellman is a high honor roll student who currently has a 4.0 GPA as a senior while her cumulative GPA is a 3.75. She is an Upper Valley Career Center ambassador and was the Skills USA president for UVCC. She's in her school's apprenticeship program with Emerson Climate Technologies as a lab technician.
Pellman, the daughter of John Pellman and Angie Brocious, intends on studying HVAC/R Technology at Northwestern Ohio.
