LIMA - The University of Northwestern Ohio men's and women's tennis teams are preparing to host the NAIA Unaffiliated Group Tournament this weekend at Racers Courts. Semifinal play is Friday with the finals on Saturday.

Including UNOH, the other participating teams are Davenport University, Aquinas College and Roberts Wesleyan. The Racers are the second seed in each draw, while Davenport is the top seed in women's play and Aquinas is the No. 1 seed in the men's draw.

The women's draw gets play started each day, with play beginning at 9 a.m. The men's matches follow at 1 p.m. Doubles will be played first and followed by singles. All matches will be played to the first five team points; they will conclude at that time.

The winners of Friday's semifinal matches advance to the finals on Saturday. The winners of the final matches advance to the NAIA National Tournament.

The Davenport Panthers recently won the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference title in women's tennis, narrowly defeating UNOH 5-4 in the finals. The Aquinas Saints won the WHAC men's tennis title, beat UNOH in the finals as well.
