
ALLIANCE - The University of Northwestern Ohio men's golf team had a strong second day at the Malone Spring Invitational to finish in fourth place in the seven-team tournament Saturday at Tannenhauf Golf Course.
Josh Hollar led the Racers from the No. 1 spot, totaling a two-day 156 after coming in with a 76 on Saturday. Matt Smith and Keith Long tied at 160; Long led the Racers on Saturday with a 3-over par 75. Matt Warnecke had a 161 and Austin Clarkson added a 163. Every UNOH golfer shot in the 70s on Saturday.
The host team Malone blew away the field, totaling a 1-under par 575.
UNOH travels to Spring Arbor on Thursday for its next tournament.
