TAMPA, Fla. - Technically, Speedweek in Florida doesn't kick off until Tuesday, February 14, but the University of Northwestern Ohio is already making a difference in the Sunshine State.

Kenny Wallace piloted his No. 36 UNOH/Toyota/Federated Auto Park modified to a win Saturday at East Bay Raceway Park in a weather-delayed feature. UNOH High Performance Motorsports students Kody Weisner and Cody Bland were on Wallace's crew that night.

Wallace, a veteran of multiple racing platforms including NASCAR Sprint Cup, won the feature by 1.658 seconds.

In victory lane, Wallace thanked UNOH, Federated Auto Parts, Sunoco, Mobil 1, Blue Ox Towing Hitches and W.A.R. Shocks. Kenny also thanked the fans for coming out on such a cool night and the crowd reacted with loud applause.

Wallace will continue racing this week in the UNOH Dirtcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway in Barberville, Florida, where he will be up against eight fellow UNOH modified cars, four of which are being driven by UNOH students.
