LIVONIA, Mich. - The University of Northwestern Ohio men's basketball team spoiled a halftime lead and fell for the fifth straight time in a 75-69 loss at Madonna University.

The Racers held a 34-33 lead at halftime, but a 17-6 Madonna run over the first six minutes of the second half put the Crusaders up 10 points.

However, the Racers tied the game twice in the final three minutes of the game, only to see Madonna (11-9, 5-3 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference) scored the final six points of the game, going 4-of-5 from the free throw line in the last 32 seconds to seal the win.

Jake Bolyard had 16 of his game-high 25 points after halftime for the Racers (5-13, 1-7 WHAC). The sophomore guard went 4-of-10 from 3-point distance and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.

Johnny Elliott had 14 points, five rebounds and three steals. Dustin Guthrie had his second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Bobby Naubert had 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists to lead Madonna.

The Racers get back in action Wednesday at Lourdes College.
