LIMA - After a standout senior season in which she helped lead the University of Northwestern Ohio to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference semifinals, middle blocker Meagan EnYart was named first-team All-Conference.
It's EnYart second straight year on the first team. She was also named to the Champions of Character team.
Senior libero Kelly Oldiges was named to the All-WHAC honorable mention team.
She leads the WHAC in blocks, with 1.0 per set and a total of 127, which also ranks her 35th in the NAIA. She is 14th in the nation in hitting percentage (0.371) and 32nd in total kills (419).
EnYart leads the Lady Racers (24-14) in kills. She is also third on the team with 126 sets played this season.
For her career, EnYart has played in 556 sets with 1,819 kills and 508 blocks, all school records.
Last year's WHAC Libero of the Year, Oldiges missed time this season with an injury, playing in 96 sets, about 44 less than her career average. She still managed to finish seventh in the WHAC with 418 digs, which also led the Lady Racers.
Prior to the Lady Racers joining the WHAC, EnYart was named second-team All-American Mideast Conference as a sophomore and third-team All-AMC as a freshman.
EnYart and Oldiges were joined on the WHAC All-Academic team by senior setter Debbie Brubaker
. It's the second straight year the trio has earned the honor.
