The UNOH Lady Racers finished up their 2010-11 WHAC schedule on Wednesday night as they traveled to Madonna University. UNOH got a balanced scoring attack with 10 players in the scorebook to down Madonna 78-65 in Livonia, MI.

The Lady Racers used a huge first half of excellent shooting to get their night started. UNOH hit 10 of 15 shots from behind the arc for 67% in the half. They led at the break 41-31.

UNOH cooled off in the second half as they only managed 5 of 16 from behind the arc, but the five 3-pt FG's were enough to break the school record for 3-pt FG's in a game. They finished with 15 on 31 attempts, the previous record of 14 was set earlier this year against Aquinas College.

The Lady Racers outshot, and outrebounded the host Crusaders to come away with a 78-65 WHAC victory. The win helps the Lady Racers jump the Crusaders in the WHAC standings, but can still lose a tiebreaker to Madonna if they win on Saturday, the final day of the regular season.

Leading the Lady Racers was Senior Alexa Kennedy with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Kennedy hit 4 of 5 from downtown. Junior Amanda Francis scored 14 points as well and grabbed 7 rebounds. Sophomore Shaye Warman scored 12 points with four 3-pt FG's as well.

With the win, UNOH moves to 14-15 overall, and 7-9 in the WHAC. The Lady Racers will finish their 2010-11 regular season at home on Saturday, February 19th when they host Marygrove College. Seven seniors will be honored on Senior Day on the campus of UNOH. The game is set to start at 1:00 pm.
