The University of Northwestern Ohio Racers held their 4th annual Racers Hall of Fame game on Saturday, January 8th. The Racers inducted three new members into the Hall of Fame, Art Loescher, Bob Shipp, and Laura Grothouse-Ulm were added to the 9 member club.
Art Loescher was involved with athletics at the University of Northwestern Ohio from 1972 through 1980. He was the Men's Head Basketball Coach for five seasons starting in 1972 through 1977 compiling a record of 92 wins and 48 losses. He was also the University of Northwestern Ohio Athletic Director from 1977 through 1980.

Bob Shipp, a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School, played basketball at the University of Northwestern Ohio from 1975-1977. During those two years, Northwestern won 31 games and Bob averaged over 20 points per game, finishing his career as the second leading scorer in UNOH history with 991 points.
Laura Grothouse-Ulm, a graduate of Delphos St. Johns High School, played basketball at the University of Northwestern Ohio from 1980-1981 in the second year of existence of our women's program. The team finished 18-5 for the year and went to the second round of the National Junior College Region 12 Championships. Laura averaged 13.2 points, 3.5 assists and shot 79% from the free throw line and was the second on the team shooting 45% from the field.
