The Racers got off to a rocky start for their 2010-11 season on Saturday afternoon as they were upended by a tight score of 5-4. The Racers only managed one victory in the doubles, and managed to split the singles.
In the doubles play, Sophomore's Alexander Hager and Cassio Sirimarco were the only victors as they won their match 8-5 at the #2 position. Both of the other matches came to a final of 8-3.
 
In singles play, Junior Jeff Brown won at the #2 position by a final of 6-1, 6-1. Alexander Hager held firm at the #3 position and won 6-1, 6-2. Closing out the final win on Saturday at the #6 position was Senior Chris Cash as he won 6-3, 6-1.
 
With the loss, the Racers start 0-1 on the season and will be back in action on September 12th when they travel to Defiance College. The match will start at 1:00 pm.
