On a warm Friday evening, the 30th of July, UNOH student driver Chris Puskas, driving the 01 car, came within feet of getting the teams second victory of the season and proved that the Motorsports team was ready to make a late season surge. Puskas' second place finish after a race long battle with pole setter and veteran driver Terry Hull backed up an outstanding third place finish in one of the toughest heat races of the night. Puskas' team mate Andy Strait started the night out with a sixth place finish in his heat race and then followed it up by winning the B-main. Strait finished up his night by driving the 2 car from his 16th starting position up to tenth at the checkered flag.

The three UNOH cars in the Bud Thunderstock division saw action in heats number two and three. In heat two Cale Ross drove the #2 car to a fourth place finish while Jerrid Back finished in the eighth position in the #01 car. Heat #3 saw Kody Weisner wheel the #1 car to a sixth place finish. Ross' fourth place finish transferred him straight to the A-main, Weisner and Back would have to race their way in through the B-main to advance.  In the B-Main, Weisner battled his way to a third place finish while Back would finish three places back in sixth.  All three cars would take the green flag, but Ross' race would end early when he was involved in a three car crash early in the event. His #2 car would end up in 21st position. When the checkered flag fell both Weisner and back would fare better then their team mate. Weisner ended up in eighth position and Back would finish tenth.

This Friday is UNOH night at Limaland and the motorsports team is celebrating the event by fielding seven cars. In the modified division, the #2 car will be driven by Andy Strait, the #01 car will be driven by Chris Puskas, The #00 car will be driven by Kody Weisner and the #1 car will be driven by Jerrid Back. The Thunderstocks will have Cale Ross in the #2 car, Tony Marrinucci in the #01 car and Brandon Ziehl in the #1 car.
