The Northwestern Ohio volleyball team outhit Rochester .337-.110 in sweeping the Warriors Saturday night at the Garth Pleasant Arena.

The Racers scored the first eight points of the opening set, including three kills by Megan Richwine (SR/Rocklin, CA) and two from Stephanie Hanewold (SR/Janesville, WI), and took control of the second set at 20-12 with a 12-3 run.  UNOH then had another big start in the third set, jumping out to a 13-1 advantage.

Northwestern Ohio finished with a 45-22 kill margin as Hanewold had 14 in hitting .600, Richwine 12 in hitting .550 and Taylor Winner (JR/Versailles, OH) eight in hitting .538.  Kayleigh Hulst (SO/Grand Rapids, MI) had 39 assists and three service aces, Taina' Soranzo (SR/Veranopolis, Brazil) 10 digs and three aces and Tina Sesa (JR/Belgrade, Serbia) added 10 digs.

UNOH (13-11) travels to #16 Madonna on Wednesday, October 11, before competing in the Aquinas/Cornerstone Classic over the weekend.
