Behind two goals from Pascal Debowiak (SR/Ahlen, Germany), the Northwestern Ohio men's soccer team picked up its third straight win Saturday with a 3-0 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference decision at Concordia.

Debowiak put the Racers up 1-0 by converting a penalty kick at the 38:38 mark of the first half and then added another goal at the 60:42 mark of the second half to give him nine on the season.  Devin Morgan (SO/Covington, KY) assisted Debowiak on the second goal, giving him three assists on the year.

"Pascal and Petteri Pietola (FR/Oulu, Finland) played exceptionally well together up front," said head coach Tyler Brock.  "We got good play all over the field today.  We are taking better care of the back, our midfielders are becoming quality playmakers and managers of the game and our wingers and strikers are causing havoc in and around the goal."

Pepe Cejudo (SO/Mexico City, Mexico) rounded out the scoring at the 86:34 mark of the second half with his fifth goal of the season and fourth in the last three matches.  Nick Doutch (JR/Kalgoorlie, Australia) provided the assist, his second of the year.

"I am really happy that we are starting to find our form now," said Brock.  "Anytime you can get a quality solid win on the road in the WHAC is a positive."

The defense picked up its fifth shutout of the season and third straight as goalkeeper Mark McMillan (NA/Glasgow, Scotland) had a save.

"Harry Robinson (JR/London, England) and Marc Skelton (FR/Glasgow, Scotland) were solid today in the back and we are going to need that if we plan on making a run," said Brock.

UNOH outshot Concordia 22-4, including 12-1 in shots on goal.

Northwestern Ohio (6-4-1, 3-2 WHAC) will have two WHAC contests at home next week, hosting Indiana Tech on Wednesday, October 11, and Lourdes on Saturday, October 14, with both starting at 4:00.
