The top-ranked Northwestern Ohio women's soccer team outshot #10 Lindsey Wilson 21-9, but could not convert as the Racers and Blue Raiders battled to a scoreless tie Saturday in Columbia, Kentucky.

UNOH had a 6-2 shot advantage at the half and outshot Lindsey Wilson 11-3 in the second half, only to see Blue Raider goalkeeper Jovana Ivanovic record six saves in regulation and add another in overtime.  Racer goalkeeper Romane Salvador had two saves in posting her third shutout of the season.

"I think we still had a bit of a hangover from the Spring Arbor game in the first half," said head coach Stuart Gore.  "Midway through the second half, we came out of it and I felt like we dominated the rest of the game and both overtimes, but it just wasn't going to go in for us tonight."

Rikke Sevecke and Evdokia Popadinova each had five shots for the Racers while Bogca Horvath had four.

Northwestern Ohio (4-1-1) hosts Olivet Nazarene on Saturday, September 16, at 2:00 at Racer Stadium.
