LIMA, Ohio – The National Fastpitch Coaches' Association recently announced its annual All-Region teams for all levels of collegiate softball, and the University of Northwestern Ohio was represented on the NAIA Great Lakes All-Region Team by freshman Grace Jackson.

Jackson, an outfielder from Louisville, Ohio, competed in 46 games while starting in 44 during her rookie campaign. She proved to be the Racers' regular centerfielder while contributing at the plate and in the field. She provided consistency and power at the plate as she posted a .366 batting average and .593 slugging percentage behind 16 doubles, a triple, five home runs, and 32 RBIs.

The honor makes Jackson the third Racer in the program's four-year history to be recognized by the NFCA. She joins Emily Rockman (2015) and Maranda Stansbery (2016) as UNOH representatives.
