LAS VEGAS, Nev. – In the second game of the Trip Sports Las Vegas Hoopla, the 25th-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio men's basketball team battled the Simpson College Storm in head-to-head competition on Wednesday night as the Racers looked to extend its winning streak.

However, the Storm (9-2) snapped the streak and upset the Racers (11-4) by a score of 52-38 as UNOH was unable to convert from the field. The Racers hit just 20 percent of their shots from the field despite holding SC to 36.7 percent.

Sadeeq Bello was the lone Racer in double figures with 10 points while Lawrence Jackson grabbed a team-best seven rebounds. Sam Amsbaugh led the Storm with 14 points.

UNOH returns to action on Thursday, Dec. 29 as the reigning and defending NAIA national champion team visits Lima. The Racers host the No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats with a 7 PM tip.
